GK- Simon Mignolet 7

Made some cracking saves, including the initial penalty stop, and a fantastic double save in the second half – though the offside flag did go up. However, he will be disappointed with the opening goal, as he stepped away from where Jason Puncheon put his free-kick.

CB- Emre Can 6

CB- Dejan Lovren 7

Another promising performance from the Croatian. He is starting to find his feet, and is displaying some consistency. All of the jitters that seemed to come with his move from Southampton are disappearing, and next season he should be a reliable part of the defence.

CB- Martin Skrtel 7

It was a solid performance from Skrtel, who did a good job intercepting Palace’s attempted through balls. Like the rest of the back three, he will be disappointed to concede three. But, on another day, those goals would not have happened.
