Seven tweets in support of Brendan Rodgers, as Liverpool boss set to keep job
FSG review will see Brendan Rodgers keep Liverpool job
However, those fans are set to be disappointed as the Liverpool Echo report that the manager is set to keep his job, after Fenway Sports Group reportedly decided that his future is not an item on the agenda when they come to review the campaign.
With Jurgen Klopp, Carlo Ancelotti, and now even Roberto Di Matteo on the market, there have been plenty of calls for a boss that has greater experience on a continental level. All three have reached the final of the Champions League, while the latter pair have gone on to win the trophy. Here are some of the tweets from fans disgruntled that Rodgers is set to stay:
Its gonna be like a Newcastle/Villa situation with us and Rodgers. Hes gonna stay for too long and damage us and himself more.
