There literally is no coming back for Raheem Sterling at Liverpool. He’s burning any remaining bridges he has at the club by the second.
After news emerged this morning that the wantaway winger is refusing to go on out pre-season tour of the Far East (via Independent), Sky Sports have announced that the primary reason for the England international’s insistence on a move is because of his relationship with our manager Brendan Rodgers.
He simply ‘doesn’t want to play for Brendan Rodgers,’ Sky headline their story.

Guardian name exciting primary Sterling replacement, as Raheem demands move
According to the report – Sterling thinks so little of the Northern Irishman who has overseen his development – he simply can’t see himself playing for him next season.
Sky Sports reckon that Rodgers said Liverpool would be able to meet his financial demands and reiterated the club’s desire to keep him, but Sterling said the issue was personal.
It’ll be interesting to see Liverpool fan reaction to this news. While most are simply done with Sterling following his arrogant, egotistical and disrespectful antics – there are probably some who would still take him ‘happy’ over Brendan Rodgers – who was lucky to keep his job following our sixth placed Premier League finish in 2014/15.
