After last night’s penalty win, our legendary former centre-back asked Klopp if there’d be a spot on the bench for him at next month’s Wembley final – due to the current defensive injury crisis.

Thankfully for Liverpool, both Dejan Lovren and Martin Skrtel should be fit and ready for the trip to Anfield South, providing they don’t suffer recurrences of their hamstring injuries.
The Croat is already back training, and Skrtel’s reported six-week lay-off (via Daily Mail) will be up at the start of next month.
