We lost 1-0 to Villarreal in the first leg of the Europa League semi-final on Thursday night, and now need to win the second leg by two clear goals to avoid either extra time or a loss on away goals.
Nonetheless, Klopp and the squad seem bullish of getting the job done.
The latest to speak positively is goalkeeper Simon Mignolet. He had a good game in Spain, making several top saves – including a sensational one-handed stop to keep out Cedric Bakambu in the 83rd minute.
“To concede so late was disappointing but we played really well and there’s still everything to play for,” he said.
“We saw what happened at home against Borussia Dortmund and over the years there have many times when Liverpool have achieved something special in European games at Anfield.
“With the supporters behind us at Anfield there’s always some magic in the air. Let’s hope it will be another one of those great nights.” (via Echo)

He also suggested that fans who’d expected Villarreal to be an easy game were sorely mistaken.
“We knew already but I think now everybody has seen the quality of Villarreal,” he continued.
“I know beforehand people might have been talking about Liverpool being the favourites but in any tournament the last four teams are there on merit.
“They are there because they’re a good side. To be fourth in La Liga behind Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico, you have to be good.
“They don’t give many chances away. They are well organised and tough to break down.”
