Oh no. This is probably the worst news we’ll read all summer. According to the Metro, Mario Balotelli’s agent has said the Italian striker will be a Liverpool player next season.
Mino Raiola and Liverpool have both been trying to find a new club for the misfit for several months – but with no success. Last week we thought he appeared to be closing in on a move to Besiktas in Turkey, but that’s now fallen through.
It was also hoped AC Milan might make his loan deal permanent – but after just one league goal all season they turned down the chance.
“His option now is Liverpool, and that is a great option,” Raiola said.
“I have not discussed Mario with Besiktas and I have never spoken to any Turkish media about that. I said last year they are the worst for writing lies and that is again the case.”

Klopp is reportedly keen to keep the infamous trouble causer well away from his dressing room. With him and Benteke, we have more than £50 million’s worth of striker that we can’t shift.
Let’s hope he can find a club. If all else fails, we’re sure an MLS team will take him!
