Arsenal legend Ray Parlour has been speaking about our imminent purchase of Sadio Mane for £30 million plus add-ons from Southampton.
He says Mane is a “top player”. The comments were made on Alan Brazil’s TalkSport radio show.
“Mane is a top player as well, though,” said the former England international.
“He can play anywhere in the three behind. I think Liverpool have got a really good player there as well.”

Mane bagged 11 goals last season for the Saints but questions have been raised over his consistency after eight of those strikes came in the final eight games of the season.
The season before, he found the back of the net ten times.
Mane has reportedly passed his medical and the deal will be officially announced by the club in the coming days.
