We beat Arsenal 4-3 this afternoon to record a winning start to the new season.
It took us 45 minutes to get going, but we were great after the break and showed a real insight into what we can expect this season.
Unsurprisingly, Moreno has been singled out as the weak link in the team, while Mane and Coutinho received most of the plaudits.

Here’s what Reds around the world have been saying about the game:
I’d rather have 10 men than have Moreno on the pitch.

The Moreno situation should have been sorted in summer, how we have ended up with him starting at LB new season is madness

As bad as Moreno’s been, if you’re honest we’re an entire team drenched in mid table averageness, erratic performances and inconsistency.

Having missed a penalty recklessly conceded by Moreno, Walcott scores from an area recklessly vacated by Moreno. There’s a common thread.

Mane looked every bit a £30m player out there. Perfect fit for this Klopp team

Manè though. Will do some serious damage this season. Coutinho too of course. Then there’s Origi who’ll be massive this season.

That ten minute spell was incredible. Arsenal are no mugs and they couldn’t live with us.

…still major concerns over the whole #LFC defensive unit (not just Moreno). If we don’t cut out the errors it will undermine the season

That’s the title charge off to a great start. 37 games to go. If my maths is right, we’re on course to score 152 goals.

I can’t take another 37 games of this! Brilliant match, horrible last 30 minutes. Defence will improve as all players get fitter (Moreno :/)
