Liverpool fans are far from convinced that allowing Mamadou Sakho to leave on loan is a good idea.
We are already suffering from a fragile defence; it’s fair to say a lot of us had pinned our hopes of an upswing on the return of the Frenchman.
But his Liverpool future is shrouded in mystery tonight with the news that Klopp might let him head out on loan.

Some have pointed out that Klopp might fancy Joe Gomez — but if the reason for letting Sakho leave is due to fitness and form, and is suggested, it doesn’t seem reasonable that Klopp will play someone who spent all of last season in the treatment room.
Here’s what’s being said on Twitter (spot the few voices of reason!):
They fucking dare loan Sakho. That would be one of the most stupid moves I’ve ever come across. He’s our best CB. Fucking morons.

I’ll smash everyone’s head in if Sakho goes on loan. We need him and Matip to sort this defence.

Sakho may not actually be the best of defenders around honestly but letting him go on loan for whatever reason ain’t the news we wanna hear

Unless we have a better replacement lined up, I can’t get my head around sending Sakho on loan. Must be more to it than just his fitness
— Haider (@HaiderFarooq28) August 22, 2016
I honestly can’t comprehend why we would send Sakho out on loan

Don’t understand letting Sakho out on loan whatsoever

Sakho to go out on loan? We have a weak back 4 as it is! It’s like loaning out your fire truck while you put out a bonfire with a bucket!

@KeithCostigan maybe he has high hopes for Joe Gomez? Who knows. Klopp’s got balls to dump a fan favorite cult hero, so fair play to him.

@KeithCostigan I think people are forgetting about Matip… he will partner Lovren. Sakho can go if Klopp doesn’t like him.

Letting Sakho go out on loan is because he will be a nightmare around the team if he is not selected as first choice imo good move #lfc
— David Thompson (@77thomo) August 22, 2016
Sakho’s not first choice is he? Too injury prone to be considered such?

Will officially stop supporting Liverpool if we loan out Sakho
