Mario Balotelli has ruled out a future return to Liverpool, fans will be pleased to know…
That’s like Charlie Adam telling Real Madrid he’d reject their advances if the Spaniards ever made a bid. It’s not going to happen.
The Italian, who scored the grand total of one Premier League goal for us during his tenure, having cost £16m, is now at Nice in France – and to be fair – he’s pulling up trees.

Gerrard’s sentimental Instagram post will make Liverpool fans nostalgic
Already in Ligue 1, he’s scored six goals in six appearances for the surprise table-toppers. For us, this is because the 26-year-old has found his level, but he’s already speaking up a future return to the Premier League with Manchester City or Arsenal.
“[If I go back to England] for sure not Liverpool,” Balotelli told Sky Sports.
“Because I found myself [performing] very bad in Liverpool. I said the team was good and the fans are amazing, but I would never go back to Liverpool.
“The first one I think of in England is Manchester City, and the second team I always like is Arsenal. That doesn’t mean I’ll go to play there. I just like them.”
In fairness, Balotelli has always said good things about Liverpool’s supporters, who desperately wanted him to succeed early on – but it soon became apparent he was just the wrong fit – in terms of his style and character.
We wish him well with Nice, genuinely – but would advise him to focus on his current club before getting ambitions of a blockbuster transfer.
