Klopp offers brilliant explanation for hilarious player parody account on Twitter

We have to admit it, as much as we love the player himself and respect what he brings to the club, the ‘Boring James Milner’ Twitter account is pretty hilarious.

Jurgen Klopp has in fact heard about the account, despite not being on Twitter, and has brushed aside any suggestion of the former Manchester City man being boring.

He told the Mirror: “I heard this once. But it could not be further from the truth. He is a proper English professional.”

“With the humour and – what do you say? – big mouth! He is a very funny person. I have no idea where it came from. But perhaps it is about having the same haircut since he was at Leeds!”

There it is. James Milner is funny after all. Words from the manager himself.

Let’s put it down to the haircut. It’s an explanation we haven’t heard before, but we like it.

Not only is he funny, but he’s a top professional. Eight-year-old fan Luke Kesterton was the lucky recipient of Milner’s Liverpool shirt following Wednesday’s 3-0 win over Middlesbrough.

Luke had been chanting Milner’s name all game long despite sitting amongst the home supporters. The player soon realised this and took the time at the end of the game to show his appreciation.

There certainly hasn’t been anything boring about Milner’s season so far having spent most of it adapting to a role at left-back.
