Liverpool’s 1-1 with United must be overturned and awarded to Liverpool, intimates Mourinho with ridiculous Hull comments…

With Donald Trump and Brexit, the world and its media is suffering due to false news and ‘alternate facts’ – but it now seems Manchester United’s manager Jose Mourinho is getting in on the act.

His side lost 2-1 to Hull City last night in the EFL Cup semi-final, but progressed to the final due to a first-leg win inspired by long-balls to Marouane Fellaini.

Still, after the game, Mourinho claimed the result was actually ‘1-1’, because one of Hull’s goals shouldn’t have counted.

“I only saw two goals,” he told BBC Sport. “It was 1-1.”

“I think 18 matches unbeaten is amazing. We didn’t lose.”

“I saw the Pogba goal and their goal was a fantastic goal – great action, great cross and the guy coming in at the far post. 1-1.”

Is this guy serious?!

By this logic, Jose, your draw with Liverpool a few weeks back was actually a 1-0 victory for us, because your late equaliser should have been disallowed due to Antonio Valencia being miles offside in the buildup.

This was the umpteenth time United have been awarded an offside goal at Old Trafford this season, as well. So perhaps we should cross all those off too? Let’s create an alternate Premier League table, with all dodgy goals scrapped, shall we?!

Sadly though, Jose, this isn’t how football works. His comments are downright ridiculous and offensive to a Hull side who scrapped out a brilliant win against his multi-billionaires.

The man’s a disrespectful fool and football’s biggest hypocrite.
