Gini Wijnaldum hadn’t put in an exceptional performance until the 58th minute, when he equalised against Chelsea this evening at Anfield.
The Dutchman headed in a ball from around eight yards out, after James Milner has squared Jordan Henderson’s excellent deep cross.
It was the first time Liverpool had got behind Chelsea’s deep wing-backs, with the skipper showing his team-mates that first-time attacking deliveries earn rewards.
Well done skip and well done Gini.
