Positive reactions all round from Mohamed Salah’s Roma teammates and the club itself towards the winger’s move to Liverpool have recognised what a popular guy the Egyptian is.
Roma have thanked the 25-year-old for his services to the club with a video including some of his best bits for the Italian side.
Salah completed his highly-anticipated move to Anfield on Thursday, signing for a fee of £36.9million, potentially rising to £44million, on a five-year deal believed to be worth £90,000-a-week.
His arrival bolsters the club’s strength in depth and gives Jurgen Klopp yet another explosive attacking option at his disposal to add to an already potent front-line.
Liverpool’s new No.11 has enjoyed a notable rise since his unsuccessful spell with Chelsea three-and-a-half years ago, polishing his skill set and developing the goal scoring prowess and creativity to add to his incredible pace.
The video tribute depicts just how deadly Salah can be in the final third, evidenced by the 34 goals and 18 assists he registered in 81 appearances for Roma, including 19 goals in all competitions last season.
Reds have good reason to be excited about seeing their new man lineup alongside the likes of Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Philippe Coutinho.
