French publication RMC Sport have suggested Barcelona have upped their original offer for Coutinho to €100m – having had a £72m bid rejected a few weeks back.
Jurgen Klopp was yesterday 100% certain that our Brazilian playmaker will not be leaving us this summer – regardless of any ludicrous sum offered – and we’ve no reason to distrust him.
What’s more, trusted Echo reporter James Pearce has rebuffed RMC’s claims, and we obviously trust a local paper more than one from France when it comes to a bid between ourselves and a Spanish club…
Understand that #LFC have not received a second bid of 90m Euros from Barca for Coutinho.

There’s still a month of the window to go though – and we doubt if this will be the last Coutinho transfer story we have to pen, despite Klopp’s consistent denials that anything will happen.
We guess we’re about to feel how RB Leipzig fans have felt throughout the summer, or Southampton ones for the past three or four…
While the Germans have held out and Naby Keita will remain, we’re still confident Virgil van Dijk will be a Liverpool player by the end of the summer.
