We take everything we read in Spanish tabloid-style websites with a very large pinch of salt.
The summer Coutinho saga proved that to us, but there’s a story in Diario Gol which piqued our attention, nonetheless.
They are claiming that Jurgen Klopp has been on the phone with Real Madrid starter Keylor Navas about signing the Costa Rican next summer.

Florentino Perez has always wanted a marquee name between Madrid’s sticks, and despite Zinedine Zidane’s faith in Navas – still longs for David de Gea, Thibaut Courtois or Kepa at the end of this season.
They claim that Klopp has sent out the feelers out to Navas to make sure Anfield is his next destination – following his consecutive Champions League triumphs.
Put it this way: he’s a big improvement on what we currently have available – but could go the way of Claudio Bravo in the Premier League.
That’s a keeper without big physical attributes found out in a competition that relies much more heavily on set-pieces.
