Roberto Firmino’s second goal against Brighton today came after a jaw-dropping counter-attack involving Mo Salah.
Simon Mignolet had just made a tremendous save from Glen Murray, before the ball was quickly cleared upfield.
Our Egyptian began running at the Brighton defence, who were visibly scared and backed off. Eventually, Salah played a clever through-ball to the onrushing Firmino, who finished with aplomb!
It’s the Brazilian’s 11th of the campaign. Not bad for someone who ‘can’t finish’.
