Fair play to Patrick Davison, the man behind the microphone yesterday when Jurgen Klopp vented his rage after the Merseyside Derby.
Liverpool drew 1-1 with Everton, thanks to a late (and very soft) penalty awarded to the visitors and took out his feelings on Davison, who in fairness, didn’t do too much wrong.
The reporter claimed though that he prefers interviewing honest managers, and described Klopp as ‘upset’ rather than ‘rude’.
Thanks for messages (most of them) about Klopp interview. Angry and upset rather than rude or unpleasant I thought. Absolutely no problem with that. Always rather interview a manager who’s honest.

We agree with Klopp, by the way. If that’s a penalty, then football is quite literally a non-contact sport.
But Davison is a journalist and only gave an opinion after Klopp demanded one.
