Loris Karius is Liverpool’s no.1…
The German started the game against Manchester City today, and when probed about why the 24-year-old was selected ahead of Simon Mignolet, Jurgen Klopp suggested this would be the norm from now on.

We’re not exactly sure why Klopp has made this decision now, with Mignolet not exactly at fault recently. Karius has been half-decent in the Champions League and when selected domestically, but hasn’t necessarily done anything to warrant the no.1 spot.
Still, it’s Klopp’s choice – and we back the boss!
We hope Karius gains some confidence and fulfils his potential.
