Liverpool could be about to poach Charlton’s prodigal central defender Ezri Konsa, just two and a half years after doing the same with Joe Gomez.
Gomez has gone to become an England international and is regarded as the future of Liverpool’s defence, so we’re pretty excited by the links to Konsa, who’s 20-years-old.

The youngster won the World Cup with England U20s in the summer and importantly has already made 69 career appearances for his boyhood club.
Kent Live exclusively names Liverpool as favourites for Konsa’s signature, ahead of Everton in the running.
Konsa, like Gomez, is renowned his ability and composure on the ball. He stands at 6ft. and has the ability to pass it out from the back.
Currently he doesn’t possess the strength to start for us in the Premier League, as bullish strikers would bully him, but he’s definitely one for the future.
