Liverpool are of course playing in the Champions League this evening, but the first ‘Red’ to find the back of the net did so in the Championship!
Marko Grujic, playing for Neil Warnock’s Cardiff, made it 2-0 versus Barnsley just after half-time.

The on-loan Serb starts in central midfield for the Welsh side, who actually have an outside chance of winning the title – just six points off leaders Wolves.

We’re just glad to see him doing well and developing at such an impressive rate.
Sadly, he left the field shortly after his goal injured, and we hope it’s nothing serious and he’ll be back at the weekend.
