RAC1 is Liverpool’s equivalent of the Echo when it comes to Barcelona reliability.
And the Catalan radio station has claimed a number of European clubs have been contacted by La Liga champions about taking Dembele off their hands…
The below tweet highlights a claim from their leading journalist Roger Sapares, which translates as: ‘Barcelona are probing several clubs to see if they’d be interesting in taking Dembele’

The Metro think Liverpool are definitely a potential suitor, with Jurgen Klopp’s admiration for the Frenchman well publicised.
At the moment, Liverpool have three elite attackers and very little else, so a fourth would be incredible.

Dembele could play on the left, enabling Mane to move centrally and Liverpool to play the 4-2-3-1 we saw at Brighton.
Alternatively, Klopp rotates heavily during the first half of the season to keep players fresh for this time of the campaign, so he’d likely use three of the four in a 4-3-3 on many occasions.
Still, Barcelona would demand extortionate fees for a permanent sale and we don’t know if Klopp would be interested in a loan deal.
Perhaps if there was also an option to buy, it would be something Liverpool could consider.
