Mexico manager Carlos Osorio has talked up his star player Hirving Lozano after his winning goal against Germany in their stunning World Cup opener.
You may remember the talented 22-year-old, who currently plays for PSV, was linked with Liverpool and other clubs by the Daily Star a few months back.

And while this isn’t exactly a rumour that’s come back much since then, it wouldn’t be at all surprising if he were on the move soon and if we were one of the clubs who could be realistic contenders.
Osorio believes Lozano is ready for the Premier League and there’s certainly room for him in our squad as we struggle to get other attacking players in this summer.
A deal for Nabil Fekir has, for the time being at least, fallen apart, as per the Liverpool Echo, while Thomas Lemar has moved to Atletico Madrid, having been a decent possible alternative.
There were also links from the Daily Mirror with Xherdan Shaqiri, but Lozano would surely be a superior option.
“I think Hirving, since he moved to PSV Eindhoven, I think he has made the next step up. He’s an unbelievable prospect,” Osorio told Sky Sports.
“I just think that whoever takes a chance on him will do well. His pace and again his ability to take people on, he can play in any league and any place.
“I think he will be able to – and he has the tools to play – in the Premier League.”
With 19 goals and 8 assists for PSV last season, and now a strong showing for Mexico at the World Cup, Lozano could be ideal to rotate with Sadio Mane in our front three – and maybe even give Mo Salah a rest sometimes!
One to keep an eye on for the rest of this tournament…
