Manager talks up one-time LFC target for Premier League transfer after World Cup heroics
This follows his notable failed move to Liverpool, with a £53million transfer said to have fallen through due to the club’s concerns over an old knee injury problem, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The France international, however, insists he has no issues with his knee and that after a lot of work on it it feels as it did before his major injury.
Fekir also failed to rule out leaving Lyon for Liverpool when quizzed by reporters, so take this how you will, but it seems like there’s every chance this is still on and he’s keen to ease LFC’s concerns about his fitness.
Nabil Fékir asked about Liverpool trying to lower the price vis-à-vis his medical results: "(half sighs/half smirks) You know I am here with France, I am happy, and I am not here to discuss my personal situation. We will see about all that later."

Nabil Fékir on the quality of the knee he previously suffered an ACL injury on: "My knee is super-good. We work a lot on it, we reinforce it. But I honestly feel like before my injury."

“You know I am here with France, I am happy, and I am not here to discuss my personal situation. We will see about all that later,” Fekir told reporters, as quoted on Twitter by Get French Football News.
On his injury, he added: “My knee is super-good. We work a lot on it, we reinforce it. But I honestly feel like before my injury.”
That’s especially true considering these additional quotes from his agent as well, who suggested the deal isn’t dead in the water as has been suggested.
“He didn’t sign because um… it is not over! This is not the end of the story,” his rep told French TV, as quoted in the Echo.
Keep your eyes peeled, folks, but most likely we’ll now have to wait until after the World Cup for any bigger updates on this one.
