Ben Woodburn has been left out of Sheffield United’s match-day squad for the third consecutive game.
The Liverpool loanee will not feature for the Blades as they look to maintain their impressive Championship form in Saturday’s clash with Hull City.
Chris Wilder’s men have lost just one of their last nine league games and moved up to third in the league on Wednesday with a 2-0 win over Blackburn Rovers.
Woodburn’s absence in midweek followed up his omission from the squad for the 3-2 win away to Millwall the weekend before.
He has managed just six league appearances since joining United on a season-long loan, and has been an unused substitute in three games.

United manager Wilder expressed in the summer that he had no intention of rushing an 18-year-old Woodburn into a full season, adopting the same cautious approach Jurgen Klopp has notably taken with the teenager.
Speaking at the beginning of the season, Wilder told Wales Online: “I am not sure that Liverpool want Ben to play 46 games in the Championship at 18, though, if I am honest with you.”
With plenty of room still to develop physically, it was always going to take the Welshman some time to adapt to full-time senior football and make his mark in an undeniably tough league.
Harry Wilson meanwhile starts on the bench for Derby County against Queens Park Rangers just days after he and Woodburn were named in Ryan Giggs’ Wales squad for their upcoming internationals.
