Naby Keita does not yet know for certain how bad his thigh injury is, but believes it is “okay”, according to journalist Sega Diallo.
Keita was withdrawn in the first half of Guinea’s 1-1 draw with Rwanda this afternoon, and was seen to be holding his upper leg, but early reports seem promising.

Keita will undergo more tests to determine the extent of the injury once he is back on Merseyside. We can only pray that this is correct and that he is not set for a prolonged spell out of action.
Keita has had a slow start to life at Anfield – but the only way of improving is by staying injury-free.
