‘The greed knows no limits,’ the banner read, as well as pointing out the prices for away fans and that ‘twenty is plenty’.
Absolutely spot on. The money clubs make from TV deals and sponsors nowadays, the match-day revenue is far, far less important.

Without fans, there would be no spectacle. The product wouldn’t exist. Without fans, football is nothing. And it’s time that normal working class supporters were rewarded for their loyalty with fair prices.
It’s not rocket science. It’s just what’s right. The more noise about this, the better.
