Manchester United have announced Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as their full-time manager.
And while this isn’t a story about Liverpool, it would be foolish to completely ignore everything our biggest rivals do when it comes to changes, transfers, tactics and everything in between.
Many Liverpool fans loudly let EOTK know they couldn’t care less when we asked for an immediate opinion on Twitter today – which is obviously fair enough.

We can assure them, our mind is on the Premier League and Champions League run-in, too.
But there’s been a fairly intriguing response from our supporters anyway. It’s fair to say that nobody is especially intimidated or worried by the appointment!
Many reckon Mauricio Pochettino would be better equipped, with others suggesting the Norwegian has wasted his honeymoon period on a nothing season.
We’ll say how it pans out, but for now, United are a level below England’s best teams, City and ourselves.
Good I think. Once the feel good factor wears off, it remains to see if Solskjaer has the depth as a manager to navigate choppy waters. Previous jobs would imply he doesn’t.

Great move. Pochettino will be at Real Madrid by the time Ole gets the sack

He has the real pressure now. Time will tell how he deal with it. But this meme give us a clue😉 pic.twitter.com/vYWhzEOuM8

They had to give it to him but ultimately good news for us. No experience as a big team manager and background is a mess. Be surprised if he’s still there this time next year.

I am surprised they didn’t o Poch who would have been a far better manager, not much of a big name to pull in the big signings in the summer either.

He’s been decent but it’s an incredibly risky decision. There will be a natural performance drop off and he’s unexperienced at this level in the process of buying and inbedding in players of the calibre they’ll be looking at.
