CalcioNapoli24 claim that Liverpool are one of four clubs to have reached an ‘agreement in principle’ for Lille winger Nicolas Pepe.

CalcioNapoli24 also say that the next stage of the deal is for Pepe to choose where he ends up – but they claim that agents fees will be ‘decisive’ in the matter.
If that is the case, we can see the Reds moving away from any potential deal. Jurgen Klopp would only want Pepe added into the Reds’ squad if the winger was there for the right reasons – and agent fees certainly don’t come under that category.
This isn’t the last we’ve heard on this deal, but a conclusion, it seems, could well be imminent.
