20-year-old Bayer Leverkusen starlet Kai Havertz is set to depart the club next summer with a long queue of clubs lining up to sign him.

The Germany international, who scored 17 times in the Bundesliga last year, is valued at £90 million, according to the Daily Mirror, with the Reds, Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich all keen.

Manchester City have also been linked with a move for him in the past, while Real Madrid and Barcelona are also likely to be taking a look.

There can be no doubting that Havertz would be a brilliant signing for the Reds. He was linked with a move to pair him with fellow German Jurgen Klopp all throughout this summer but decided against leaving Leverkusen.

With a contract until 2022, next summer is expected to be the time when a transfer does materialise. Even though there is a lot of interest in him, the Reds should be confident of being able to secure a deal.

Hopefully, by next summer, moving to Anfield could mean joining the Premier League winners or back-to-back European champions.
