I hate to watch Liverpool lose and even it if is a friendly the red in me is bubbling then I have to pinch myself and say, wait.
Yeah we did not play well tonight but maybe there are some positives we can take out of it. Ngog, Pacheco & Nemeth all showed a couple of good moments which is very encouraging. Vienna were the better team, their match fitness was there and looked very sharp. Still 5 more preseason games to go before our first season game so do not worry there is still plenty of time for the players to sharpen up.
As you would expect the whole team was subbed off in the 2nd half and every player with the exception of the 5 Spaniards, Glen Johnson & Danny Agger got to participate.
The Reds now head to Bangkok where they play Thailand on Wednesday and the 5 Spanish angels are all expected to play too.
