Liverpool target Xherdan Shaqiri is too stupid for Pep Guardiola, and will be sold in January for €20m

Bild claims playmaker will leave in January for €20m…

Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola has decided Swiss Liverpool target Xherdan Shaqiri doesn’t have the right football brain to play for his Bundesliga giants, reports German daily Bild.

According to the story, Guardiola reckons the 23-year-old isn’t “clever enough”, and is happy to sell him for as little as €20m in January when the transfer window reopens.

We made a bid for Shaqiri during the summer, but because of his excellent World Cup and undeniable potential, Bayern decided he wasn’t for sale.

However, Guardiola has lost patience with Shaqiri, and is now keen to offload him as quickly as possible.

The stocky attacker has only played three Bundesliga matches this term, and is understandably desperate to leave and get the first-team football his ability warrants.

We are inundated with attacking midfielders right now, but would be foolish not at least consider a deal for Shaqiri, who consistently scores and create goals.

If we did capture him ahead of the likes of Spurs and Manchester United, it could signal the end of Suso’s Anfield career, and maybe even make it difficult for the ultra talented Coutinho to get in the side.
