Might have been one of the men to miss out in the Liverpool midfield, but we think it’s more likely that Rodgers will choose to rest Steven Gerrard, and keep the Brazilian.
RM) Jordan Henderson
Henderson has steadily been improving in his new found role as a right wing back / right midfielder, and will need to be alert to keep Swansea quiet. He’ll be grateful that Jefferson Montero looks likely to miss the game.
LM) Lazar Markovic
Will be a close call between the Serbian and Alberto Moreno for selection on Monday, but we think Markovic will keep his place after a positive month for him.
CM) Emre Can
Can came on for the second-half against Burnley, and could be given a rare start here, with Gerrard unlikely to play two games in four days. Could leave on loan if he fails to impress.
