The Berahino rumours keep on coming.
With firepower upfront at Liverpool currently looking a little weak there are further rumours from the Mirror we are chasing West Bromwich Albion forward Saido Berahino.

The 21-year-old is reported to have been a transfer target for Tottenham Hotspur for some time, but Brendan Rodgers will hijack their deal as he looks to improve our attack.
It’s true that Mario Balotelli and Rickie Lambert have both been disappointing since their summer moves to Anfield and although there are no doubts over the capabilities of Daniel Sturridge, the England international has been perennially injured this term.
Therefore a new striker would perhaps not be the worst idea for Rodgers in the January window, but with West Brom demanding £20m for Berahino this would probably not be the best deal.
Contract talks between the youngster and the Baggies have stalled and Spurs are keeping a close eye too as they have more issues than we do upfront at the moment.
For Tottenham only Harry Kane has been reliable in attack and manager Mauricio Pochettino is more desperate than Rodgers for recruitment in the final third.
Berahino may have scored eight goals this season, but there is no way we should be paying anywhere close to West Brom’s asking price for him.
