5) Yohan Cabaye – PSG
“He’s played in the Premier League before so he’s already got the experience. He’s a good creative midfielder, is only 28 years old and an international. The only problem with Cabaye is his wages. He’s gone to PSG and picked up a decent wage. Also, when he left Newcastle, he spoke about being back home in France.”
Doesn’t have the physicality or the drive to be a direct replacement for Gerrard, but his creative skills would add something to our midfield, certainly.
