His goal against Everton typified what a talent he could be. He has the ability to play anywhere across the attack line providing a multitude of problems for defenders.
Jerome Sinclair
Broke the record to become the youngest Liverpool player ever at just 16 years and six days when he faced West Brom in the League Cup.
Sinclair has pace and a knack for scoring a key goal. He’s yet to make a full impact in the Liverpool first team, but with Rodgers as boss you’d expect it would be sooner rather than later that he gets a chance to shine on the big stage.
Joao Carlos Teixeira
The Portuguese has certainly hit an impressive figure whilst on loan at Brighton with some quite stunning runs and goals.
An attacking midfielder by trade, some said he could be the next Deco when playing for Sporting Lisbon.
Lloyd Jones
Jones only signed his first professional contract in 2013 and garnered the most appearances in the Liverpool U-21 squad throughout last season.
He’s currently on-loan at League Two’s Cheltenham Town until the end of the current campaign, and will look at pre-season in 2015/16 as an ideal chance to shine.
Ryan McLaughlin
Liverpool fans will remember the right back from his impressive displays in pre-season and has really nailed down a place in U-21s.
Ryan Kent
A wide attacking player, Kent can work in either position along the front three.
A versatile and technicially gifted player, Kent isn’t afraid to work the hard graft for his teammates and constantly funnels back to help his defence and midfield to pick up the ball.
Jordan Rossiter
After a strong showing in pre-season, Rossiter announced himself to the Anfield, and the world, with a surprising opening goal, firing a long-range effort into the far corner becoming the club’s second youngster goalscorer behind Michael Owen.
Jordon Ibe
The success story of the season, Ibe returned from a loan deal at Derby County appearing as a substitute against Aston Villa.
But it was his appearance in the Merseyside derby that showed this is a boy built for the big stage driving past numerous Everton players at one point to crack a fierce shot off the post.
He has since been named Man of the Match against Besiktas during a 1-0 win at Anfield.
