DMC) Steven Gerrard
Our brilliant skipper is retired from England duty, but would likely have gone on to break David Beckham’s appearance record for an outfield player had he continued. Gerrard scored 21 goals in 114 international matches, and will go down as one of his country’s greatest ever midfielders.
MC) Jordan Henderson
Henderson’s one of two players in this side who are guaranteed England starters, currently. The midfield dynamo provides both us and his country endless energy and work-rate from the centre, while his creativity is continually improving.
AMC) Adam Lallana
Another Liverpool star who consistently gets caps for England, Lallana’s qualities are undoubted, although he isn’t an automatic starter for us nor the Three Lions right now. This is partly down to injuries, and we hope that his form and fitness will improve and he contribute from now until the end of the season.
