Stade Rennais winger, and potential Liverpool summer target Paul-Georges Ntep has dismissed rumours that he was keen on a move to Merseyside, and made two trips to the Melwood training ground in the past week.

According to Goal, the 22-year-old insisted that he is very happy with the Ligue 1 side, and wishes to stay with the club.
“I did not go to Liverpool last week, that’s completely false,” he said.
“I have a contract until 2017. Stade Rennais gave me my first professional contract and, for now, I am very well here,” he added.
Ntep has been an important member of the squad for his side this season, contributing nine goals in 33 league appearances, and helping the club to a comfortable mid-table position.
L’Equipe directly claimed he’d made two trips to Liverpool, but it turns out they were completely fabricated.
He has represented France at various youth levels, but is yet to receive a call-up to the full team, and could potentially still play for Cameroon, having been born in the country.
His ability to play anywhere in the front three, and even slightly deeper, would make him a very useful option to have. However, if we are to miss out on him, we have plenty of other options available, both currently at the club and on our radar.
Jordon Ibe, for example, was impressive when he was brought on against Chelsea, especially when he decided to run at the Blues defence. With more game time under his belt, he will develop the confidence to know what to do with the ball every time he goes on a meandering run.
Adam Lallana also put in one of his promising displays, and managed to give Branislav Ivanovic one of the toughest tests he has had all season. If he can stay injury free for a sustained period of time, we will start to see the player that in a Southampton shirt last year screamed in our faces that he deserved to be at a better club.
