Surely Fabio Borini will leave Liverpool this summer, won’t he…?
The Italian forward has scored the grand total of two Premier League goals for us since he arrived in 2012, and it’s really in the best interests of both player and club if we parted ways.

The 24-year-old’s agent Marco de Marchi thinks that while plenty of clubs want his client on loan – we’re holding out for a permanent transfer, and rightly so.
“Soon we will have to talk to Liverpool,” he said, reported in the Echo.
“Several teams have asked for Fabio on loan but the Liverpool board have always refused, especially in light of the £10m bid that was rejected last year from Sunderland.”
The same report names Serie A giants Lazio as a potential suitor – which would be relatively controversial considering the fact we bought him from their bitter rivals Roma three years back.
Now that Danny Ings has been signed (via BBC Sport), Borini truly is surplus to Anfield requirements…
We’ll wish him well, but can’t imagine he’ll make us regret our decision to let go.
Sadly, Borini doesn’t have the technical ability, pace or ruthlessness in front of goal to help us mount a top four challenge.
