The Liverpool stars continued their preparations for the new season in their latest training session today, under the guidance of manager Brendan Rodgers and new first-team coach Sean O’Driscoll and Pepijn Lijnders.

Danny Ings was snapped a number of times, laughing at joking with his new teammates just hours after his move from Burnley was officially confirmed on our website.
Divock Origi, Nathaniel Clyne and James Milner were also among the players on show. No doubt all three men are hoping that they could be making their first Liverpool appearances in the coming days.
Mario Balotelli was back, after missing the opening days of training with compassionate leave, as was Joao Carlos Teixeira. The youngster broke his leg towards the end of last season while on loan at Brighton, so it’s a real bonus to see him back in the action so soon.
