Mohamed Sissoko (2005-07; Games: 87)

Expectations were high when the Mali international arrived at Anfield. He started promisingly enough and was an integral part of our FA Cup winning side in 2006. Unfortunately, injury problems eventually led to his early exit.

Craig Bellamy (2006-2007 & 2011-2012; Games: 78)

The Welshman spent two memorable seasons at Anfield. In his first, he helped us reach the Champions League final and produced a memorable goal swing celebration. In his second, he won the League Cup against Cardiff.

Alvaro Arbeloa (2007-2009; Games: 98)

One of the most underrated players in modern Liverpool history. Glen Johnson’s performances over the last six years have proved how much we’ve missed the Spaniard, who rarely made a mistake and never let us down.
