Danny Ward and Jordan Williams have been called up to the Wales squad for the Euro 2016 qualifiers against Cyprus and Israel, with the two games taking place early next month.
Both players are uncapped but will be hoping to prove their worth in and around Chris Coleman’s squad ahead of a potential trip to France for the tournament itself next summer.

Wales are currently top of their qualification group with just four games remaining. They’re five points clear of third place Israel and know that back-to-back wins in their next two games will seal their spot in Paris.
Ward, who is currently on loan at Aberdeen, will provide back-up for first-choice goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey. The 22-year-old has never played for Liverpool but was an unused substitute on multiple occasions last season.
Williams, who is currently on loan at Swindon Town, takes the place of fellow Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen – who is out of both games with injury. The 19-year-old made his first-team debut for the Reds in last season’s League Cup victory over Middlesbrough, scoring in an epic penalty shoot-out.
Congratulations to both players.
