Daniel Sturridge is back, and Liverpool fans have been celebrating as a result all weekend.
The striker proved that when fit and on form he’s easily one of the best strikers in the Premier League – bagging two against Aston Villa to help secure us a 3-2 Anfield win.
The finishes were superb, and highlighted what we’ve been missing in his absence.
With a healthy Sturridge we’re simply a different side, and as many Twitter accounts pointed out, his goals to games ratio for Liverpool is actually better than any forward in our Premier League history.
second to none! @D_Sturridge pic.twitter.com/ORIqhgkc2w

Sergio Aguero and (a healthy) Daniel Sturridge, are head and shoulders above any other strikers in the Premier League.

Praying that Sturridge stays injury free and keeps gaining sharpness. He’s a World Class player when fully fit.
