Here’s a much changed side we think Brendan Rodgers could deploy against FC Sion in the Europa League this evening…
GK) Adam Bogdan
Bogdan’s played just once so far, and although Rodgers actually went with Simon Mignolet in the first Europa League tie, we think he’ll select the Hungarian after his League Cup penalty heroics. He’s unlikely to let us down.
DLC) Joe Gomez
Gomez fits in as the right central defender perfectly. He’s lost his place in the Premier League XI, so he’s a certainty to start – having sat next to Rodgers in the pre-match press conference as well.
DC) Kolo Toure
Fit again, Toure should slot into the middle of defence, enabling Martin Skrtel a well earned rest.
DRC) Emre Can
Likely to continue in the back three, giving Mamadou Sakho a break for the weekend.
