Frank De Boer wants the Liverpool job so badly, it’s approaching desperation!
The Ajax boss has once again mentioned us in the press in regards to his potential next job – having only ever managed the Amsterdam giants since becoming a full-time boss in 2010.

(Video) Clip resurfaces of Klopp questioning Rodgers’ management
Rodgers claims he hasn’t spoken to FSG, and promises fans, ‘I love the club’
In that time he’s won five Eredivisie titles and two KNVB Cups, and judging by these latest quotes, clearly feels he’s achieved everything he can in Holland.
“Yes, I think every year (moving to the Premier League) comes closer of course,” De Boer told the BBC World Service, cited in the Echo.
“I’m looking maybe for another adventure. If there is an interesting club that I think with my quality I can make that team better – if I can, than I will take that chance.
“They are fantastic clubs. Liverpool and Newcastle – with supporters behind them – it is a fantastic environment to coach but this year it is important for me to do well at Ajax and then we will see.”
If De Boer really wants the Liverpool job, he should probably learn not to put us in the same bracket as Newcastle – who haven’t won anything proper since 1955!
There is much talk of a potential replacement for Brendan Rodgers, and that discussion will grow to deafening proportions if we lose the Merseyside derby on Sunday.
But sadly for De Boer, his name has been rarely mentioned by Liverpool supporters, with two other candidates far more widely favoured: Carlo Ancelotti and Jurgen Klopp.
