Liverpool owned Andre Wisdom reckons he has a chance of making it with us, as he told the Echo.
The defender, who plays right-back or centre-back, is currently on loan with Norwich, where he’s spending the Premier League season.
He spent last term on loan at West Brom, so it’s easy to forget that he’s a Liverpool player at all, but the England Under-21 international reckons he can still make it at Anfield.

“My future is definitely back at Liverpool because that is my dream and that is what I want to achieve,” he began.
“I’ve had a quick catch-up with him (Klopp) to see where I am and how I am progressing. He just said keep going, gain as much experience as you can, keep working hard and above all enjoy your football. I am 22, which in football terms, is not that young nowadays.
“My situation doesn’t really change. I came to Norwich at the start of the season to gain more experience and play more games so the objective stays the same. Obviously I am in contact with the new manager and the staff at Liverpool but my plans here stay the same.”
It’d be handy to have Wisdom at Liverpool still, in fairness.
Nathaniel Clyne currently only has Connor Randall to back him up, and the youngster’s not covered himself in glory in the two League Cup games he’s so far played.
Wisdom is a step up from Randall, and with Liverpool competing on four fronts, he could have definitely done a job this season.
It’ll be interesting to see whether Klopp decides to offload Wisdom permanently at the end of the season, or decides to make him part of the first-team squad next season.
