Italian publication Gazzetta World reckon Liverpool are eyeing January moves for two Fiorentina players currently struggling for Serie A game time.
They report says we could make a permanent approach for Guiseppe Rossi during this transfer window, but also potentially take Mario Suarez – who can’t get a look in right now – on loan.

Both are 28-years-old and are out of favour in Italy for different reasons. Italian forward Rossi is exceptionally talented, but his career has been ruined by injuries, and despite being fit right now – Nikola Kalinic is the preferred option having bagged ten goals so far this term.
La Liga winner Suarez moved to Fiorentina in the summer, but it’s just not worked out for him. The capped Spaniard has been given just four starts for La Viola, and is itching to get out.
As a result, a loan move seems sensible, for the player at least.
We’re not entirely sure what to make of these rumours. Neither provide Liverpool long-term options, but would boost a squad currently ailing with injuries. They’re experienced winners, but if they can’t get in Fiorentina’s team right now, should they get in ours?
