Fenerbahce beat Tuzlaspor 1-0 in the Turkish Cup last night, thanks to a lovely volleyed, injury-time finish from Lazar Markovic – the Serbian out on loan from Liverpool.
As the clip shows, Markovic collects the ball on the right of the penalty area, before beating a defender and smashing the ball into the roof of the net – much to the delight of his team-mates.

Markovic is very much a starter for the Turks now, after being in and out of the team during the first half of the campaign due to injury.
He’s now started to contribute to the goals and assists charts though, with his side still in the Cup and top of the league.
The best thing for Markovic is to stay in Turkey right now if he’s hit a hot streak – although in truth we could do with him at Anfield.
The 21-year-old is settled, and recently claimed he would only consider his future in the summer.
“I know I am a Liverpool player but I play here like I am a Fenerbahce player,” he told LigTV.
“I give my best in every game, in every training. I’m coming here to be champions and let’s see after the season.”
