Futbol Ukraine, cited here by the Daily Star, claim that Brazilian attacker Alex Teixeira has agreed terms with Liverpool ahead of a possible bumper January transfer window switch.
However, the two clubs are still yet to agree a fee, so now have until the window closes at the end of the month to reach one – or the transfer will be off.

Liverpool have already had a £24m bid rejected by the Ukrainians, who according to the same report, are holding out for something closer to £38m for the 26-year-old.
Teixeira has been sublime for Shakhtar this season, scoring 22 goals in 15 league games and four in the Champions League as well – all from the no.10 position.
He’s been liking multiple photos of himself wearing the Liverpool kit on Instagram, so it’s pretty clear that he is keen on switching to Merseyside.
Whether we’ll be able to agree a fee with his club is of course another matter, but we’d be foolish not to. On countless occasions Liverpool have spent average amounts of money on a number of average players, which ultimately adds up to an enormous fee. Big clubs don’t sign lots of players – they just sign the best ones.
We should do everything to make this happen.
