Jurgen Klopp is widely expected to field another inexperienced side against West Ham in the FA Cup fourth round at the weekend.
It presumably won’t be on the same level as the first Exeter game, but there are certain to be quite a lot of U21 players involved in the match-day squad.
With our ongoing injury issues, along with a potential place in the League Cup final on offer tomorrow, with other side’s poor league form meaning we are still in the top four hunt, and with a favourable Europa League draw, Klopp (understandably) seems to have decided the FA Cup is a step too far this term.

The race is on, therefore, for the young guns to try and bag themselves a place in the first team at the weekend.
